The Internet and the Occult [1]
There’s a long time that I intend to make a blog. I
always enjoyed writing, so it’s natural to think the next step’d be something
in the internet, where I can achieve people from everywhere.
The virtual space - first created to military ends
- is now a powerful tool to acess and exchange information, trough the entire
world. Indeed, after the war period, the web seemed to develop as if it’d its
own mind. It fed from the increasing of people accessing it and has grown to
encompass not only the world, but also part of the universe. In fact,
artificial satellites, today, send millions, billions and even trillions of
information directly to Earth. Thanks to the advent of this technology that
revolutionized the history of communication, in the last centenary we’ve got
more technological development than in all of human history before it.
The men in the last century has never been so
connected with the environment around them. People have never been so connected
to each other before. Meanwhile, ironically, perhaps, the human being has never
been so lonely and so ignorant about his history and the environment’s needs
which surrounds him.
Then, the
question became: What to write about?
Now, it’s quite obvious to me that I should have
begun to write about the “occult” a long time ago. For years, due to certain
circumstances and opportunities, I was led to the copious study of different
traditions and philosophies. I’ve been in touch with the most varied kinds of
ideas, always insatiable for knowledge, I met extraordinary people and
ideologies. With this blog, so, I intend to expose a bit of information being
released to the public – the secular, or profane - only now. Also, I’d like to
share some views. But, let me say something first: I’m not responsible for any
action you may take with this knowledge. I just give you a key, you can choose
to open a door and go through it, or not. And sometimes, this last option is
the best one.
Study, study, study and study. After that, study even more. Maybe, you’ll never know anything, but you’ll get some wisdom and acquaintance to look inside yourself.
Stay safe.
Labore et ore.
[1] - Occult: That comes from OB-,
"forward", more -CELARE, "hide, take from the view".
